Mike, are there any big Triple Crown hopefuls going into next year? I’ve been casually following the scene for about 10-odd years (having been heartbroken by Silver Charm/Real Quiet/Smarty Jones/Barbaro/etc.) and I’d like to hear your take on the next Max Ramirez of horse racing.
too early to say Joey; the 2yo’s don’t really hit stakes season for another month or so; chances are that the 2009 Derby winner hasn’t hit the track yet
Eric Hurley thoughts…? More draft thoughts? Any Michael Main updates?
I was looking at what the Indians received for Bartolo Colon, which was Grady Sizemore, Cliff Lee, Brandon Phillips, and Lee Stevens.. None of the three main peices were quite major league ready yet, Sizemore being the farthest off. If the Rangers somehow run off a win streak, do we make a play for C.C. Sabathia? If the Indians are selling of course. If so.. Eric Hurley, John Mayberry Jr., Marcus Lemon, and Frank Cattalanatto, a comparable deal?
